I graduated from UConn to become a reporter but quickly learned that my skill could be applied to public relations. Through the years, I’ve placed hundreds upon hundreds of stories, from local calendar items to opinion pieces that made the organizations I’ve worked for thought leaders.
And I’ve taken the spotlight for my employers when bad news has hit. That is unfortunately part of the deal.
Some of my most noteworthy placements have been The New York Times, the CBS Early Show, and Connecticut Magazine. But some of my most meaningful have been the everyday stories, telling the story of my employers through the tales of our customers.
